Default ECAE Alternator Belt slipping

Hello,
I updated my alternator this season from an ECAE 55a mini to the ECAE 120a CS130.
The mini 55a alternator pulley fit belt #15330 perfectly, just did not put out enough.
On the 120a, belt #15330 rides way high in the pulley, slips, and obviously does not keep up while idling through the pits. I can easily rotate the alternator with a ratchet and 2 fingers.

I called East Coast Electric and he said to crank on it and tighten it up more. The belt is very tight now. I am hesitant to use a breaker bar and tighten it up more which I feel would sideload the crankshaft.

What are your thoughts on how high this rides in the pulley?
How tight is too tight?

Thank you,
