Friends
I was wanting to pose this question bcuz it seems very strange that our beloved category of Super Stock cars seems to be dwindling. I have several suspicions but it seems no one is talking except for Bobby from CRT. I pray we can keep civil and constructive. Thoughts? |

Stock only had 80.I remember in 2018,there was a bump spot.
I think we know a good part of the problem. Foxtrot Julio Bravo. |

Several things IMO contributed to car count or lack of.
1)Ridiculous Diesel/Gas prices 2) Part scarcities & raising cost of parts/race fuel Many don't have cars done to race or have reached a point were they are unwilling or unable to participate financially. 3) Multiple Div Races going on same weekend. Especially D1&D2. Usually get a couple D1&D2 cars for Indy Divisional 4) Online entry is still a deterrent to some 5) Little bit of a suspect weather forecast for weekend (Saturday) didn't help either. |

Many racers made a choice between a double at Bowling Green this weekend, and Indy. Weather was spotty for Indy so they chose B Green to get a grading point, and cheaper entry.

80 is good just about anywhere except the Division 3 race at Indy.Historically, this has been a very popular race.Like I said earlier,130 cars in 2018,2019.Even 120 cars in 2021.
When compared to 130,suddenly 80 is not very good. |

Sorry for late response I was traveling to BG. I love this place! 😎
Yes the 3 races 3 weekends in a row might have split the field agreed. Why hotlap the schedule then have no june events? 😕🤔 Yes i understand the economic reasons. Yet i tried to drive 64mph to BG and all the trucks were blowing me everywhere! More trucks running than cars on I65 running 70-75mph! Weather didn't forecast didn't seem bad to me. But Div 1 race had 49 cars? WHAT GIVES? Same issues there too? Thoughts? |

I would not read anything into this... Maybe they didn't get all of the pictures send over as the time of posting. Hard to say, but know they are on there now.
