Thanks for the notification, was hoping for a few more. Charlotte would have been nice but since we don’t know the quota yet running class could be one big combo. Geez…

Class for Stock at Gainesville during the points meet I understand, but why would they put Stock Class so early in the year at the points race at No Problem!?

Not exactly, Div. 6, which has a very large geographic area, has never had more than 1 National Event that I can recall, and has never had Class Eliminations. With Seattle being that only National Event, the closest race for myself, that held Class, was Sonoma California, about 20 hours one way. And there are plenty of racers in the Division that would be at least 10-15 hours further than I was. Is there any other Division in NHRA that only has one National Event?

Let’s be happy that we get to race Class. Win, loose , or draw it’s great to race the old fashioned way.

Vegas is so much closer to most in Div. 7, might get more cars.

Larry, I know we should be happy there is Class Runoff Races; however we use to have 3X this amount of "Class Races". With all the complaints about the AHFS, soft combinations and less review periods...more class runoffs would help the situation as well as give most of us more than one or two races a year with class runoffs to attend. Two per division would be nice + Columbus and Indy. With the low quotas for Nationals, just put the Class Runoffs at the division races, that way all competitors can participate without needing 6-8+ grade points. IMHO
