Default Re: Race #3 & #4 LVD June 26/27

Race #3 and #4 are in the books after a rather humid weekend at Lebanon Valley Dragway. The weather conditions generated some driving challenges but clear skies kept racing action constant over the two days.

On Sasturday (June 26th), George Mirza marched through the field and took out D.J. Pires in the final round. Bob Vogel continued his streak of late round appearances as the lone semi-finalist.

On Sunday (June 27th), D.J. Pires found himself in final #2 in as many days, this time squaring off against brother Billy. D.J. come out the victor in the Pires family finale. George Mirza followed up his Saturday win with a strong semi-final showing.

D.J.'s stellar weekend earned him the 55 gallon drum of VP fuel sponsored by Howard and Wayne of Lebanon Valley Dragway. It also catapulted him to the top of the points standings with full list available on our website (www.asra-ne.com/points)

ASRA has two races remaining with plenty of competitors still in contention. The push for the coveted shoot-out race also remains tight with just a few rounds separating those on the outside looking in.
