Installed new digital oil pressure gauge. Had idiot light on live guage to signal if lost oil pressure. I had a second oil sensor wired with a light. Any good way to wire light for digital guage?

I don't see what the difference would be if it's a digital gauge, just put a second sensor and a light.

The old gauge was a live gauge and I had brass fittings under dash with second sensor screwed in with light. For led digital, where the second sensor going and how it's going to detect lack of oil pressure? I was thinking about spicing into 12v source to sensor in block and adding light?

Depends I guess on what motor...
BB Chevy has multiple places to access oil galleys. Don't know about other brands, but guys here would know about Ford, Chrysler, etc. Wiring to sensor won't work, gauge uses resistance, light uses dry contact closure. |

On my old Mopars = I just put a "T" in the Oil Pressure
orifice and I used to mount a Oil Pressure sender from an 60's mopar with an idiot light in the extra hole = Hook that to an additional external light. When the pressure dropped to below about 12-15 Lbs it would ground and the light would go on. and I knew it would be time to look for a Mop!
