Default strange Master Cylinder

I am doing some upgrades on my 1980 I/S Camaro. I put strange brakes all around, install was clean nice brakes. Now I am replacing the factory master cylinder with the Strange unit. I am scratching my head now, I pulled the factory one off, 2, 3/8 studs through the firewall, the Strange unit has 1/4" holes and they do not line up good with the 3/8 studs. Looks like I will need to drill out the master cylinder base to 3/8,. Can someone who has converted one of these over offer me some advice.
Thanks

That's Strange (no pun intended) every one I've got from them has .328" holes. Like this one B3359TA

The holes on this one are chamfered on the firewall side that seems strange, maybe so you can drill them out if needed.

Mine is a B3359, just measured the holes, .312 or 5/16 was guessing at 1/4". This is the one Strange said I needed. I think I will be ok drilling them out to3/8.

I don't drill them out, I use a rattail file and work to fit, the 3/8" drill bit takes out material in the wrong places along with widening the holes.

This is the adapter from TRZ Motorsports I used for my 69 Camaro. Fwiw the Bickle brake rod retainer works with it.
