I'm a bit confused. Numidia has been opened early than any track this year in PA and racing is a weekend event. Atco somewhat slow and now opened for racing and MG bringing up the rear. Is this a Wally Land decision or Div 1 or both? I was at Atco for a TNT and was an easy 300 people there. I'm involved in the event industry and the recent COVID 19 regulations have KILLED all my indoor business. Outdoor event rules are very relaxed and considering the total acreage of all these race sites, social distancing is not an issue.

If i were to guess the reason it's probably due to Governor Wolf two days ago prohibiting any outdoor events to 250.

That was the reason given on the NHRA D1 Facebook page. They made a post this afternoon stating it was canceled, and would not be rescheduled, but the JR Dragster event scheduled for Numida that weekend will go on as planned.

Cecil and VMP Divisionals could be in trouble also. Maryland and Va have been added to the quarrantine list. Anyone from the tri state area NY, NJ, Ct must quarrantine 14 days when returning from said states. There are a bunch more on the list, but those two affect the D1 Lucas races.

Sounds like we need a double at Cecil and a LODRS added to the New England Sportsnationals

I believe Yellow bullet. Is before the Nhra divisional
That race if it happens will be the test. Doesn’t look good for large gatherings in most states.

Is there a fixed fine if you go along with the events as planned? Maybe the fine is $2-3k and you bring in about 300ish entries and as many spectators as you can muster up?
