I am assisting author Bill Holt and the keeper of the Pittsburgh International Dragway legacy Jim Senkewitz promote the great historical book and photo journal featuring photographer Bill Truby’s collection about the former Pittsburgh International Dragway.

Many division 1 and 3 class racers attended the large stock and super stock events at PID in the late 60’s and early 70’s and they are featured in this book. Photo histories of Western Pennsylvania class racing legends including Jim Boburka, Beaver Butter, Jim Evanuik, Don Fezell, Denny Ford, Jim Henderson, John Kunsak, Wes Leopold, Lydon & Johnson, Ed Matsko, Tom Myl, Harry Sheehan, Walt Siler, my father and many more!

Top fuel, pro stock, modified eliminator, exhibition vehicles and exhibition events are also chronicled. From the beginning idea of the track in 1963 to the induction of the 2019 PID hall of fame inductees is covered.

A limited number of books remain, however if large quantities are needed, please PM me about having another possible run of books made.

Carl, this is a great book ! I bought one for myself and I bought one for my father. There are a ton of great photos from the Pittsburgh Drag Racing Legends !
