Sorry to hear this Dude. I have to question the logic of this particular "action". The whole idea of this sticker deal is to sell product. My opinion is that you gave some free press. But, what do I know?

I think we all know the real reason here, if they don't pay out the money they get to keep it. Now we all know Jeff is a bona fide cheater for real now!!! 😂

Lucas, like some others, require you to “buy in” to qualify each year as do some others. I don’t think they care if you drink it as long as you bought enough product each year. Many contingent items are like that. I think it gets tricky when they pay and don’t require proof of purchase. This used to be crazy when more contingency was paid out.

I wish NHRA put as much thought into expanding advertising opportunities with companies to enhance the contingency program as they do looking for ways to not pay. They don’t understand racers or businesses. There is a lot of opportunity to improve the program.
NHRA only wants big big players and then they suck the value out of it for them and they leave.

"Jeff has been suspended from the program for the next two contingency opportunities. " From NHRA Racer.

So If Jeff wins the next two races he enters does he at least get the prize money? Or is that only the next two axle shootouts?

Maybe I'm completely in the dark, But I don't really believe 80% of racers are scamming, claiming contingency for products they don't run. I have removed and added fuel and tire decals from race to race to adhere to the rules. And know other people do the same thing,

I thought the contingency program was to reward racers for using their products on their race car, not payment for advertising. If that was the case every decal would be on every car to get the most money..

I bought product and stickered up only to find out the nimrod at NHRA had the posted list wrong. I think we need a posting for “ Statement of Action against Association” LOL.

Even though they acknowledged it was wrong, they never updated it.

You know what’s really stupid is your total statement
We are lucky there are companies that pay the contingency $$
Otherwise we are racing for $1500 And this is another reason for companies to not participate . I try and purchase the products that pay Its all we got and you think it’s ok to screw someone out of $$ there giving away . This year at Maple Grove cars in the semi final where checked real close for parts claimed. So this is the new normal. No more SHOPLIFTING contingency It was ok till you get caught
