Who is the ACSSA?

The Atlantic Canadian Stock/Superstock Association was founded in 2010 in response to a resurgent interest in Stock and Super Stock racing in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). While this region has produced numerous National Event winners and National Record Holders over the years, class racing has only existed here in small numbers since the 1980s, and we were determined to return it to its former glory. With sixteen seasons now under our belt we have seen steady growth every year, and in 2016 we welcomed our first NHRA National Open to Atlantic Canada, at Miramichi Dragway in New Brunswick, Canada. This double header race has been incorporated into our local points series and has proven very popular, drawing many local Stock & Super Stock cars as well as entries from the New England states and the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, and a few years ago a second National Open double header was added at Cape Breton Dragway in Sydney, Nova Scotia. These two National Opens are now part of the John Scotti Canadian National Open Point Series and the NHRA Div. 1 schedule each year, and we welcome any and all racers to attend these races and enjoy our part of the world!
