Default Dropping out of National Races

We were trying to get into Stock at World Finals.

Someone dropped out a minute before closing time.

By the time we pushed submit.....It was closed.

Anyone can do what they please ( I understand plans change
)....But It would sure be helpful if you could drop out at least 5 or
10 minutes prior to closing time and give someone else a
opportunity to enter.

I would have contacted my division office immediately and explained to them what happened and see if they'd help.

We called Rosa and Div 7 Director Mike Rice right away............Never
got a return call from either. I imagine it is a busy week for them
so I understand.

Sorry to hear that John. Very aggravating wanting to race and can't enter and then closes with a spot left.

Jon Jr. talked to Mike Rice........."Sorry if I did it for you I
would have to do it for everyone".
Makes Sense I guess.
I would be nice if people withdraw at least 10 Minutes early.

Unsure of how that could have happened. One has to withdraw by 12 noon PST (no withdrawals are allowed after that point) and one has until 1pm PST to enter. Should have a full hour to enter if quota allows.

That's true. I forgot about the hour separation. Copied from http://promod.nhra.com/Userfiles/fil...S_and_FEES.pdf

I will ask Jon Jr. to clarify.
He told me that it showed 60 until a few minutes
to 1 PM.....Then dropped to 59 and closed before he
could enter and push Submit.

He said he was refreshing the computer every few minutes.
