Default LED shop lights in the garage

Last week I saw that Menard's had 4 ft LED shop lights for $21.97 each. I bought a couple to try them out. Hung one over the work bench and the other near the front of the garage. I was so impressed by the light they gave off I went back and bought another five to replace the rest of the fluorescent lights on the side where I do my working on cars. I hung them in the garage yesterday and could not wait for night fall. I am really happy with the way the garage is lit up now.

If you are on the fence about changing over to LED shop lights, go for it! You will be glad you did.

Plus they almost never burn out plus your electric bill should decrease drastically instant on in the winter especially in the cold zones

X2 on what Travis experienced. I also bought the conversion kits to change over my old fluorescent fixtures to LED lights.

My NAPA workplace bought about 30 of these exact same Menards LED lights and installed them as replacements for the 1950's fluorescents that were up there. After a year's time, 3 of them have went out in one manner or another, either by one side of them going out, or quitting completely. I'm not here to bash them, the lighting they give off is real good and we are happy with that, but they're not bulletproof.

Travis there was mention of one being built across the street from the Lowes on Preston highway by the movie theater.

I did a bunch of T5 style 8 Ft long LED strips off eBay you can buy in packs. They come with cables to quickly link them together. I've been very happy with them.
