Your are the guru for the dime stuff I have a 78 Fairmont 200 hot water 6 and C4 2 door box vinyl top if that matters good or bad platform for pure stock?

Put a 302 in it and it's great!

Never be Billy, but no good for Pure Stock.
16 lbs is the bottom class ( I/PS)
That being said, it's probably cheaper to build an index runner for U/SA anyway.
