Is it true westcott stopped racing pro stock because of the lack of performance and money? Morgan and Gaines stopped. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I was told that Charlie took time away from racing to work on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. HUGE supporter, I'm sure he's heartbroken.

After listening to Larry Morgan interview on Wheelz Up radio the other day I fully understand why PS is doomed....cars are not marketable to sponsors and purses are drastically reduced...all about the money, innovators like WJ, Jenkins, Mad Dog are a thing of the past.

I am sure it takes remarkable finances and energy. I believe it has probably reached the point where financial reward possible cannot hope to balance these costs for this class. Stock and SS never has balanced due to massive numbers of ways to lose in eliminations after building a competitive car. Sponsors who need advertising at this level of cost are few and far between when the visibility can be so limited.

And I feel like not looking at the computer for a month or so untill all this BS blows over. After Chicago, I redid my engine from the bottom up. It showed good on the dyno, but with limited weather (4 runs) I wasnt able to get it in tune to take advantage of it. I have been busy trying to get my shop more organized, I got the Landis fixed which has been sitting idle for 3 months, and right now I am making a bunch of cams for people. I ordered a new 5axis Deckel Maho mill, and they aint cheap, so I need to generate some $$$ right now. We will be out next year earlier than last I hope, and see what we can do. And yes, I, along with everyone in my family voted for Trump. and thats all I want to hear about it. thanks cw |
