![]() ![]() Here's the story...Bought a 1968 Dart 270 from a restoration shop in Florida. It was destined to be a Pro Street machine with an all aluminum Indy HEMI. Story goes that the owner was displeased with the potential power and torque of the new HEMI and decided to cease the whole project. Said he didn't want to do what it would take to keep the car from buckling under the torque of the new mill. When I found it, it was a rolling shell with an incomplete motor. Body was painted 2007 Dodge Charger Sublime Green and that was all. No glass. No interior. No brakes. No fuel system. Nothing. Just what I wanted! Now I could build a world class HEMI Dart with nothing but the best components. This is one of the finest HEMI Darts you will find anywhere. Bar none. And here's the best part: the motor has less than 12 passes on it. I licensed in the car in 2014, raced it four times in 2015, and now it's time to put it in your shop. Why am I selling this amazing machine? It’s simple, really. This level of racing is one step beyond where I want to be and I need to ratchet it back a notch. Buy it. Race it. Hard.
