Barb and I are considering going to Tulsa Divisional June 10-12. Seems to be 2 - routes to the track. Has anybody traveled from MO I44 to OK I44 to Exit 248 and gone over OK-266 west and exit on N. Garnett Road to the Race track? We will be traveling with a 37ft RV with 33ft trailer. We can save approx. 25 miles each way. Is this a safe and practical way with our RV and Trailer?
Otherwise we would have to Take OK-I44 to OK-412 West to OK-169 North to the N. Garnett exit. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks - Fred and Barb |

Fred -
We live in Neosho and take I-44 the whole way into Tulsa and then take 244 toward Downtown Tulsa to Garnett Rd and head North to the track. Some of those side roads can be very tight for a truck and trailer. Hope this helps Michael Compton |

I would take I-44 to I-244 to HW 169.
Take 169 North to 36th street North exit and turn back on Garnett south to track. Good Luck, Bill |

How about coming from the North. Is 75 or 169 the better route? Only been there once and think we took the wrong way last time.

If its easy to get over to 169 during the trip I would do that and get off at 36th North after you get into Tulsa. If not exit 75 on I-244 and take that to East to 169, exit North then on 36th Street North. Normally I would tell folks to get off at Pine but Garnett has been closed between Pine and the track lately for construction. Bill |

From:
NHRA Drag Racing South Central Division 4 "The Good Guys" on Facebook: Racer and Spectator Access to Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park: Due to construction delays on the county road project, due to weather, the Garnett road entrance to Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park is not accessible for anyone this week. All Racer and Spectator traffic will be directed to the East entrance to facility on East 129th St. Racer and Spectator directions: From 169 South take the 36th Street Exit cross over the bridge and continue on 36th St East. You will travel 1 mile on East 36th Street to the first stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign. This will be 129th Street. Once on 129th Street the race track entrance will be on your right in about 1 mile. From 169 North take the 36th Street exit. Upon exiting the highway turn left at the stop sign on Garnett Rd. (DO NOT TURN RIGHT ON GARNET ROAD) Proceed to the intersection of Garnett Rd and 36th Street. Turn Right on East 36th Street. Once on 36th Street it is about 1 mile to 129th Street. Turn right at the stop sign this will be 129th Street. Once on 129th Street the race track entrance will be on your right in about 1 mile. There are 2 entrance gates one for spectators and one for racers. Thank you again for your patience while this County improvement project is under way. Once completed, the final project will produce a better entrance and exit for racers and fans that come to visit Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park. |
