I was sitting here web surfing and "listening" to Jeopardy on TV and was shocked, but in a good way, at one of the questions. While I don't remember the exact wording, but it went roughly something like this:
Sanctioned competition between two cars with a variety of rules and safety regs is called drag racing. Two cars racing on public roads is usually called? Answer: "Street Racing". I don't recall what category it was under or if the word "illegal" was used.. ![]() Three cheers for the producers of Jeopardy!

think it was under dangerous it is first drag racing ? i have heard

That would explain them making a point that there are extensive safety regulations involved in drag racing. Thanks.
