Default S/G advise Please..

I am working on my New Roadster, and will try to run S/G next season, there are a few things I know the car will have, there are a few things Im not sure what to use..

I know the car will be coil over 4-link rear with a Torsion front, 16-33's rear, 24 spindle mount fronts, body is a 27 roadster, trans will be a glide...

other than that I am lost... I am a FORD guy, and would love to stay with FORD power.. but.. would consider a Chevy if I needed to..

how fast does the car NEED to run to make a good S/G car?

can I build it to run close to .90, and not use a stop?

is there a big advantage going .90 @ 170 mph?

do I need a delay box?

if a stop is needed who's is easiest to use?

would a big block be better than a small block?

Thanks in advance for any help.. trying to get a pair of cars so my Son and I can start running Divisionals next year
