Smile Live from the NHRA PC Richard National Open @ Atco Raceway

Hi Gang - Seems like I barely got my clothes washed and here we are again .No , I'm not there yet but will be .Today I'm told there are some private teams testing along with parking .As soon as I can verify the testing results i'll post 'em .

Tomorrow will be test and tune and ClassRacer will be covering for sure .Myself and hopefully the boss ( aka - yo ken ) shall bring you all the news from what will be the biggest National Open ever held .If you bump into Gary Richard over the weekend let him know how much it means to us - his support is the best ! !

I'll be back .........

Jack is correct, there was track rental today. A few Stockers and Super Stockers along with some no time cars and bikes rented the track today.

Todd Hoven ran some mid 10.50's in D/SA. Jim Boudreau ran some 9.80's in B/SA. Jonathan Allegrucci was testing his Drag V10 and ran some mid 8.80's I have a few videos to edit and I will upload later.

Here are some shots of the cars testing today. As you can see from the first photo, Atco has a new burnout pad.

Jim, a few of the teams that I talked to said it was about a 1000ft, temps were in the upper 60's.

Here are the videos I took today, the first one is a little shaky, still trying to figure out this new camera. Check out the last photo, any of you know why Todd Hoven has a keyed lock on the front fender of his Firebird.

I'll take a guess that the key lock on fender is for an "old school" alarm system.
