Welcome to another week of Wheelz-Up Radio. Your #1 Choice for Sportsman Drag Racing. This week on Wheelz-Up Radio presented by Sassy Race Engines we join host Chris Barnes who is back from his trip out West, Tri-State Stock/SS President Mike Carr, Mid Atlantic .90 President Rob Keister and to keep us all in check, we've added Bob "The Sheriff" Bender to the line-up. On this week's show the gang will talk with Stock & Super Stock Eliminator Racer Charley Downing. Charley will talk about his race team and give a wrap-up from the weekends festivities at Indy as Division 3 started off their season. The gang will also talk about the LODRS race held at Virginia Motorsports Park that finished up about 24 hours sooner than expected. The NHRA National Event tour also stopped in Houston for a very fun and interesting weekend.
Our guest on Wednesday's Night comes to us from the great state of Michigan and has been very successful the past few years with his Varsity Ford / Downing Farms fleet of Cobra Jets Mustangs. Charley has added a few Wally's to his mantle so far in his career and will let us know how he made out in Indy and what his plans are for the 2016 season. The gang will also pick his brain about the future of the Factory Stock Showdown with only 13 Pro Stock Cars showing up at Houston we will ask Charley if it's time for a change in the Pro ranks.
