Pit space has changed a lot at the Gatornationals
This is where I was parked at the 1972 Gatornationals racing Super Stock. I was behind the old tower. That is me doing something under my Mustang. The last time I raced in Stock in the late 90's I was parked in the spectator parking and had to go through the spectator gate to get to the staging lanes.

They'll get to park on asphalt again...on Monday after the Pros have left and they've towed everybody's rigs out of the mud.

I wish I could just been so busy here at the shop. It is hard to find reliable help that knows anything about restoring a Mustang.

I was amazed a track could have a national event this time of the year without at least gravel or crushed rock pits. Not just grass, or now, mud.

Re: Pit space has changed a lot at the Gatornationals
5 or 6 years ago I was pitted so far away and was all to my self. When I came back from making a time trial, I found myself surrounded in the spectator parking lot. I will NEVER AGAIN race at the Gator Nationals! Points meet, national open yes. No Gators!
