Default 1990 Mustang As a FI/A Stocker

New to this board. First post. I'm an active bracket racer and attend 4-6 National events and 3-4 divisional races each year. Recently attended Norwalk and Bristol. I'm looking to build a Stocker. I recently acquired a 1990 Mustang notchback, 5.0 L, 5 - speed car. Any idea what NHRA Fuel Injected class this car would compete in? I would convert it to an automatic for consistency. Would this combination be competitive, capable of running .75 - 1.0 second under the index? I know Josey, Warren and Rowe build and race competitive LT/LS-1 fuel injected combinations. Who are the comparable Ford engine builders? Any idea how much a competitive engine would cost? I know I have a lot of questions, but would hate to make a bad decision. Thought I'd tap into the expertise of knowledgeable members. Thanks
