This is a Cam Dynamics camshaft for a Chrysler B/RB, ground on a Crane 8620 steel billet core (that's the 689356 number). Recommended valve lash is .030" at operating temperature. Advertised duration is 318 degrees. Lobe lift is .440", resulting in a gross valve lift of .660" with the standard 1.5:1 ratio rocker arms. The .050" tappet lift duration is actually 278 degrees. Cam timing at .050" is: intake opens 35 BTDC, intake closes 63 ABDC, exhaust opens 67 BBDC, exhaust closes 31 ATDC. Lobe separation is 106 degrees, with 2 degrees of advance ground into the cam. This was a popular single 4bbl Super Stock camshaft. Information confirmed by Crane Cams which bought out Cam Dynamics some years ago.
