Goodyear?

Is Competition Tire East is going out of business? Being that they were a no show at the divisional in Maple Grove. Is there another dealer taking their place? Does anybody have info on this.

I called them before the Virginia LODRS and they told me that Goodyear took their Distributor deal away from them the week before Christmas. The Distributor is now Carroll Shelby Enterprises. I talked to them and they don plan on attending any divisional races. Sucks because they make great tires, and Dan from Competition Tires was always great to deal with. I don't think Goodyear cares much about the Sportsman drag race market. They sell more tires on Nascar and CART series in one week than they would sell to us all season.
