I've read a little junk on the net tonight about S Ga being sold on courthouse steps this morning. One mention said Div race may be out, now. I hope this gets ironed out asap ! Anyone else have any credible info on this ?

That little blurb on Competition Plus is gone now. Wonder if someone asked them to take it down?

It might be getting worse? Just got a Facebook update the banquet scheduled for this weekend has been canceled. Also last month the Div 2 Bracket Racing Finals, which was scheduled for SGMP was moved to Atlanta. I know of allot of people who were not happy about that and might not go to Atlanta for that race. Time will tell..

I asked about the division race to a VERY credible source and he said the rumor "was becoming less true". Not trying to spread anything but the info I have is that Ozzy Moya(OSW) bought it from Frank Dean. News has been very hush about it today.

If SGMP is sold, I hope the new owner will have more sence than the old owner. It seems that division four Houston Baytown track sets the points meet on the same date as SGMP. A shift a week or two in either direction will ensure more cars for both Baytown or SGMP. With the car counts being down, it would seem to me the tracks would work with each other in order to have more participants.

Lets hope Ozzy is the person that ends up with SGMP. He has done a good job with cleaning up and improving Lakeland dragway. He also runs Orlando Speedworld. He is a big supporter of the SSSSA. We run most all of our events at his tracks.

I hope the race is held somewhere that weekend. It's a long drive from Minnesota to end up with the race not being held. The reason to go to the Gators is the LODRS the week before, then over to No Problem, a nice southern swing.
