Ennis pit conditions
Racers,
As of Tuesday morning it's raining at Ennis plus more rain is forcast for Friday. Will we have another mud fest? Do you suppose every effort will be made to keep us out of the mud? I have had experience with Ennis mud, you do not leave tracks, you pick them up and take them with you! I happened to be one of the lucky ones to be at the first ever race there, although just as a spectator. Uncrated is right if you start out with a size nine shoe after a few steps you are about at a 18!, old black clay is tough. The spectator pits were still an old cottn field no prep work as were most of the pits.

Larry,
That is one place I don't like to be when it rains. You are right about taking your tracks with you. When I walk in that mud I grow from 6' 4" to about 7 Ft tall. I don't get much taller than that because I can't carry any more mud. When that mud dries it is hard as a brick. Good luck guys! Adger Smith

Ed, No plans to go . Health issues & I've got a shop full of work. I also have some of my pieces loaned out. You never know, you might be racing some of my parts... LOL Good luck.
