If I understand the program, Div 3 has put the Indy Points Race the same as next weekends Sportsnationals. So you have a choice of rain Saturday and Sunday, lows in the 40's, highs in the 50's and it might clear by Tuesday so the race can be finished, which my understanding is it has to be finished to position the Jeg's Allstars. Bring extra clothes and money and tell your boss or your wife or both. Or a racer might want to go South to 75-80 highs lows mid 60's very little rain probablity, good food (crawfish are really excellent this year), fun free race on Thursday, class, records and don't forget the bar in the bottom of the tower and the band at night. I spoke to Pat the other night while testing this large orange car I try to race. Needless to say what his position is on this. He spoke of needing some Vaseline or KY. I suggested Marfak instead. For the younger viewers in the audience Marfak was (and still might be) the trade name for Texaco Grease back when you greased ball joints and steering links. I will be there with a pocket full of money to pay the guys who outrun the Fords in the fun race. And don't forget if you beat a Shelby, its doubles. Me and Charlie Ford have reserved seats on the starting line to observe the festivities and have large amounts of beverages. Hope to see lots of my Northern friends.
