Default Wild Horse Pass Drag Strip In Arizona update

I was out at Wild Horse pass Drag Strip yesterday and Today watching the Pro Stocks test. The track was a little green yesterday but today the track was very good . I saw only one Pro Stock shake the tires ,the rest made it down the track with very very good 60ft times .The quick cars were in the 6:51 to 6:59 ET range .The track is very smooth all the way

The new management team are working like crazy to make this track a good experience for the racers .
They have Three veteran workers on the Starting line to make sure no one spins ,not only on the line but all the way to the finish line . They are using the VHT (Pj1?) traction compound not VP Also they have two tractors laying down Rubber to make sure the track is good.
The changes being made are all for the Good of the racers .
The new scoreboards are in the process of Going in they are great as even us older Veterans can see them now . The New timing system worked without any malfunctions .

As of today The track is offering staging on The Monday after Pomona the 10th of Feb at 9 am . There will be a charge of $100, to Stage early . for anyone wanting to leave their rigs there the lot will be Secure

The management team is trying their best for us racers , I am sure there will be a few glitches for the national event and points race as we all know what can happened when a new management team starts a new venture

The Monday Stacking for the National Event is on without a hitch starting today the 10th of Feb . A racer can leave their rig in a secure area until the national event. The fee is $100.
The new scoreboards will be installed and the traction will be the best the track can do with a new green track I am sure of that . The new management team are very concerned that the races are happy racing here.

I ran my stocker this past Saturday and the track was great. I had a 1.48 60' time and an 11.32 et. Not bad for a brand new engine on a 12.15 index. The track should be great for the National and Divisional races.

Raced this past Saturday and things were pretty good. Nice to have xmas tree on a pole instead of cable and watching move around. 60 ft clocks were fast a couple weeks ago and seemed fine now. Track surface I thought was smooth. Rubbering is coming around. Not gluing properly yet. ( mixture and amount being applied I feel is not correct, but my opinion)Program run a little slow but understanding that employees are still jelling. No scoreboards yet , I think they said this Friday they will be up and working.
