BJRE SST Series Race #5 9/28/13
This Saturday will be the fifth race of the Bill Jackson's Racing Engines SST Series at Pacemakers Dragway Park, in Mt Vernon, Ohio . With 2 races to go the points are tightening up as Mike Price has came out of nowhere to climb into second place, plus the "Nitro Joe's" Bounty Hunter target is on his back. (Who ever defeats him in eliminations wins $25). Allen Smith still has the lead in the points with Dan Funk & Matt Dadas in 3rd and 4th spots. Mike also picks up the $100 award for winning the "Associate Sponsors Shootout". Scott Jamison picked up the Joy Smith Motorsports Best Wining Package award from race #4 and Dan Funk won the bounty award for Race #4.
As always Friday night testing is only a extra $10 if you pay for your Sat SST entry ($50). Qualifying on Sat will start EARLIER !!!!! 1:30 and 3pm, with Rd 1 starting at 4:30/5pm time, trying to get going before the damp and coldness comes in.
