Default Norwalk Pro Stock mfg Showcase??

Interesting that NHRA and the Mfg's wanted the Norwalk race as a Mfg showcase, particularly for Pro Stock.

So how come only 15 cars there? Looks like a flop to me.

I watched qualifying last night Mike and was sad at the turnout.
The cars seem to get less time than the motorcycles now. There is a problem w the class and hope they fix it.
Make the cars Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers. Allow efi too. Make them look like real cars and cut out the scoops or restrict the size. See the video of jeg looking over the scoop at the light? jeez.
They need more appeal for the fans.

Anyone notice Erica's funding troubles have ended her run? Too bad, a marketing plum that NHRA and ESPN has taken advantage of but guess the $$$$$ required to compete and travel all over the US makes it too tough unless you're packing Summit, Jegs, Mopar, oil $$$ or a niche sponsor like Edwards has. I enjoyed WJ's interviews for a while there but of course NHRA didn't like them and the Johnson pockets finally came up empty. The class had some zip when rivalries were helping draw some fans but those days seem gone. The bikes are getting more attention because of off-track hype and I agree with Chris, today's Pro Stocks look like yesterday's Pro Mod's so where's the attraction there?
