Re: Expensive visor raise
Nobody forces him to have an in-car camera used for ESPN...nobody likes to lose but his disgust at the end of a losing run is almost comical. He first flips the window latch and then starts going after his safety equipment. Face it, he's still traveling at a pretty good clip and probably isn't aware if a competitor is having trouble in the shutdown area.

Re: Expensive visor raise
Chump change for a team with their budget. I'll bet it wasn't his first warning. NASCAR fine would have been much larger. Loss of points too.

Re: Expensive visor raise
How much do you think it would have been if they had got all tangled up while on camera?

That would have been bad.

Re: Expensive visor raise
Just NHRA being a wannabe NASCAR deal.
A warning would have been sufficient. FJ |

Re: Expensive visor raise
Just wondering how many classes have this rule. I was not aware that I had to have my visor down to go down the track.

Re: Expensive visor raise
It's kinda hot in those cars with all that stuff on. I never lowered my visor until I saw this video.

Quote:
From my understanding they(elite team) had wired it in to also shut down the fuel as it normally only shuts down ignition and releases the chutes.
