Looks like a street sleeper. What class would that fit in stock? Looks cool, and heavy!

Mark--No not a stocker---notice the blacked out 12" slicks.------Dave -- That's the owner but not what the car is famous for ( lets see if someone else not so close to Sonny can come up with it . Thanks :-) ----Robert ---It is a sleeper but can't make stock and very heavy. Ate a lot of chicken drank a lot of beer and entertained a lot of women in it----definately a fun car.

Smile Re: Anybody recognize this car ?

Ok----There was an episode of Monster Garage where they took a 82 Fleetwood Brougham , gutted and tubbed it and stuck a blown BBC in it. Took it to Irwindale to race it. Jesse James saw Sonny's Cadillac and had his people set up a match race to show the difference between his highly modified Caddy and a everyday street driven one. What he got was a seasoned crafty old ( 72 at the time ) drag racer that not only had 4 tenths on him but also left nothing on the tree and embarrased him three in a row. ------- Caddy stats-- NA stroker 495 c.i. Olds - ATI manual 400 turbo and conv. 9" ford 4.10 --mini tubs with 12" blacked out slicks with bolt on hubcaps --3" exhaust tucked up. 1.52 /60 10.80 / 123 1/4 @ 4600 lbs. Mr. James was very gracious to Sonny and told him it serves him right for not doing his homework. Also if they didn't air the episode he would see to it Sonny would get a copy. No matter what his reputation is I thought that was nice of him.
