Default Anybody promoting sportsman racing @ Indy

I was wondering if anyone is doing an off site display, to promote sportsman darg racing prior to the U.S. Nationals. The biggest and most famous race of the year deserves an Olympic style promotion. The sportsman racers themselves deserve reccognition for their efforts to compete. I would love to see the stands full for the sportsman racers. There is alot that could be done to fill those stands, and it begins with the racers themselves. It's very obvious the NHRA is not going to do it for you. So it is up to you to generate a fan base and/or sell your product which is entertainment. To sell you must advertise your product and promote the excitement factor. Reach out to a new audience and enhance awareness to your product. Most sportsman racers are flying under the radar. They have stealth type clean white trailers that hide the excitement within. Can you imagine going into a store and everything is behind closed doors. Get them out of the rig and in the publics eye. Folks need to see your product, drag racing is yours to loose. It's every racers job to promote, create interest, and awareness, to allow the sport to thrive.

What do you think could/should be done to enhance the sportsman experience?
