Our 50 th Anniversary Tour

For our 50 th Anniversary we went on a drag strip tour.
I had never run at Thompson the only strip in Ohio we never raced at , It was a very nice strip.
Then we went to Toledo Glass City dragway, Kettersville & Pence /Sidney all close in the 70's. We would run Pencie on Sunday then go to Kettersville for Sunday night in the early 60's [61 & 62] Toledo ran from 59 to ? on sundays.
Went to Jegs, Columbus National Trail, the 1st rack I ran on in 1960 ..Pacemakers in Mt verion, Ohio
then up to Norwalk where Jeg & Larry Morgan were testing..

Sounds like fun, Tom! I've made the same tour myself a few times. Glad you walked to the "back" of Kettlersville; not many folks remember the track ran TOWARD Rt. 75!

It was run by Ted Jones for awhile before he went to IHRA along with Muncie and Sidney?
