I just wanted to take the time to say how impressed I was with the Division 4 staff and Division 4 racers and track. For the first time I had someone actually inspect under my car for the required safety equipment. Maybe it was because I was an out of division racer, but it was nice to know that someone was looking. We spend a fair amount of money on safety equipment and it never gets looked at when it requires someone to look under the car.
The tracks right lane was odd Thursday night for the T/T session, as it felt like I was skating around up to 330', but was fine during qualifying. The other nice thing that the track staff was doing was watering down the gravel pit roads to keep dust down. We made 3 qualifying passes on Friday and 2 on Saturday before round 1 of eliminations on Saturday afternoon. Not alot of down time and things were moving very steadily. All in all it was a great experience.
