Contingency Postings

How many of you guys are turning in the W9’s for the contingency postings? Many state they have to have a W9 on file. Are you guys comfortable giving a complete stranger your social security number in this day and age?
I'm thinking about only having the stickers on the car that I have the product for of course and don't require the W9 to be on file.
This sure would clean the car up as well.
