Default Indy 2011

Hit the road a few hours on my way home from my first Indy and I'm glad I decided to make the trip. Met a lot of awesome people and a few shady characters but thats the spice of life I guess. The two heads-up runs were an absolute blast. Still a lot of r&d to do on the old 454 but thanks to Jim Boudreau, we squeezed every ounce out of it that we could find. Just wanted to thank everyone for the support both online and at the track and send a huge thank you to Anthony Bongiovanni and Jim Boudreau. Both guys stayed an extra day if not more and there is no way I win round 3 and 4 without them. Jim was all packed up to leave 'til I told him about my heads-up and he immediately slid out the old Camaro and started removing some go-go goodies for me to use. He is the best at going fast and I feel like I let him down even though he says otherwise. Hope to keep in touch with a lot of the guys across the country (and the globe), and I will see the rest of you in about 36 hours at E-Town.

Mike, congratulations, your performance was impressive, especially considering you think there's more left.

Mike:

Not much got done today, back here in D1 land, most were glued to the computer, using audiocast, awaiting the outcome of your next round.

Kid, you were smoking!!

A fresh case of Yeungling should cool you off!!

Mike,

You did a great job. Everyone should also know that Mike could have been chilling out on Friday, but he spent the entire day in the barn working on the AA/SA that I drove. Then he stayed up until 3:00 am helping put it back together. Mike also did a trans swap on his own car the day before.

Great job, Mike! I am proud of all that you have shown; you carry the name well. Tell your old man hello from me.

Mike

I was rooting for ya. You got by Folk & then you had Pourciau, that must of been close.

You did a Great Driving Job.

And as Jim C. said: A case of Yuengling. Sounds Good To Me.

Hopefully were running this weekend but with the lousy forecast predicted they should
cancel it early and re-schedule it.
