Default Stolen at Indy

We parked at a Indy airport hotel last night for four hours and they stole the set of Bob Book carbs off of Craig Bourgeois Hemi engine and many costly tools. So if you hear of anything or see anything race related for sale please call me Greg 504 606-5072.

They passed up many expensive race related tools and a hans device with helmet so I believe they are just after some quick money.

I totally agree about using Sharia Law. Since Sharia Law is a lot about female domination and we are talking about stealing. It aint their HANDS they should cut off.

Red face Re: Stolen at Indy

Since they finished the upgrade project at Indianapolis Airport, the area where all the motels are has really taken a turn for the worse, especially High School Road near Sam Jones Expressway. I spent a week there last summer with the military and was glad I had my sidearm! Sorry you had your equipment stolen.

Unfortunately, it's not just the airport area. Indy is one of my favorite towns, but it's starting to turn into another Memphis or Englishtown as far as crime.

Three years ago, thieves tried to steal my Spree (scooter) off the carrier on the back of my Explorer. Luckily, the hotel security somehow scared them away before they could get the job done. This was at the Hampton Inn off 91st St. I had stayed there for many years and never had a problem.

I only had to replace the tiedowns and a warped but not cut cable and lock. Like I said, I was lucky.

That was the last track I brought the scooter to. It's a shame we've come to this.

Very true Lew, I live like a few blocks from there. I wish they would do something with the old airport tear it down or something to bring more people. I think that would help with crime is to bring more people to the area.
