Mid Atlantic Super Comp & Gas News - Atco, NJ– The Mid Atlantic Super Comp & Super Gas Associations will return to action at Atco Raceway on August 13th & 14th. MASCA & MASGA will be joined by the high flying East Coast Stock / Super Stock series and the $10 & $5 Grand Hoosier Footbrake Races on both days.
The Mid Atlantic Super Comp Association (MASCA) has completed 4 events so far in the 2011 season with Tom Boyle, Jeff Livezey Jr, and Joey Cambria claiming victories so far. Cambria was the latest driver to write his name in the history books after “Doubling –Up” at Maple Grove earlier this month. Boyle will lead all competitors into Atco in the season standing with 4 races to go but, is closely followed by Cambria, Dave Long, Livezey & Bill Hardifer.
On the other side is the Mid Atlantic Super Gas Association (MASGA) group. So far MASGA has completed 6 races in the 2011 season with Tom Goldman claiming Two Victories (Numidia & Cecil County) and Iggie Boisceco (Numidia), Kelli Barbato (Cecil County) and recent winners Earl Nichols Jr & Scott Reinfod claimed victory at Maple Grove earlier this month. Goldman will lead all members into Atco with a small points lead over Nichols, Pete Luciano, Shawn Harp & George Smith.
The schedule for Atco on that weekend is as follows. Gates will be open on Friday Night (Weather Permitting) for anyone who is traveling from a long distance and would like to park that night. On Saturday & Sunday Gates will open at 9am and time runs start around 10am. Entry fee’s are as follows it is $70.00 for Super Gas to be paid to Lucky & Leanne & $ 65.00 for Super Comp to be paid to Rob Keister.
