Does anyone make gears lower than a 5.13 for the "489" casting 83/4" chrysler rearend? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Ron

Richmond has 5.38 listed. But whether or not they are still made or who may have them in stock will need to be researched.

Ron, if you can I would avoid using a '489' case. The '742' case is much better. Moser has them for $210.00 part number 875B513. Strange has them for $189.00 part number RS03887513. Precision Gear C8/513. If you get a set of these gears I would have Jim Bailey cryo everything including the bearing caps ..

Richmond does not offer the 5.38 anymore. The lowest i have found is the 5.13.
