Big changes on the B.O.D.

There was the biggest turnover in ASRA Board of Directors history this past weekend. Don Fardie decided not to run for re-election and Dan Mistretta has started a new job and he wouldn't have time for the ASRA and felt it was best to step down. Howard Hogg was nominated but didn't get re-elected, which was fine with Howard. I would like to thank Dan, Don and Howard for all that they have contibuted to the ASRA while on the B.O.D.

So that set up an election where we needed to fill 2 three year term spots and 1 one year term spot. The decision was made the top two vote getters would get the 3 year terms. When the votes were tallied, Gary Parker and Greg Barsamian won the 3 year terms and Marc Labrecque gets the one year.

Welcome aboard gentlemen!

One other note from the meeting, the track payouts have or will be revised to accomadate a 7 round race, payout starting second rd. It will be 2nd rd $25 and 3rd rd $35 from the track and that matching amount for ASRA members.

The same deal will be in place for the Stock/SS Challenge at Napierville. You will be able to earn ASRA points if you missed a previous race.
