Year end or New year meeting?

Hey gang,

Anybody interested in a winter "get together" to discuss, bench race, tell stories?..........give me ideas as to dates that may work to help the winter go by faster. I know we have semi regular "board meetings" at Koppien Automotive but maybe we should plan something a little bigger.....

Great minds think alike or so they say...In the planning stages now to be held in s falls in dec some time ..trying to get email list an address from all to build info for our group thanks bryan stk5010

I think we need to get some of the track managers there from Marion and Oahe to see what they are going to do to make there tracks better. Like to see marion get all the timers working. And maybe see if we can get more then one race in Pierre they usually get pretty good pay out. I would suggest sometime in Jan

Mike Schmidt called me today, 11/30. Oahe Speedway is looking at a 2 day S/SS event in mid June, I think the week before the Denver D 5 points race.

What's the feeling on this? Would this work?

Put this on your calender. June 11th/12th at Oahe Speedway, there will be S/SS combo races. Tentatve $1000 added to the purse each day. Test and Tune Friday night.

This is the week before the Denver D5 race. Mike Schmidt said there will be parking at the track or at Morris Inc. if you want to race and leave your rig before you go to Denver.

This should be a good race date. Good weather, not to hot.

This will give us a four two day Combo race dates, May at Thunder Valley, June at Oahe, July at Thunder Valley, and September at Thunder Valley. And throw in the Oahe Speedway Aaron Koppien Combo and National Open plus the Combo and National Open at Kearney, you have lots of racing!

I think Kearney is having their Stock/Super Stock Spring spectacular again this same weekend.. Too bad these tracks cant work together more so they can get better car counts
