Do you think if we combined some classes in Stock Elim. that maybe the sponsers would pay more for a class win ?
Instead of having 51 classes my formula would bring us to 34 classes. I looked at all of the indexes in Stock & came up with this: AA/S & AA/SA same index A thru F Stick & A thru F/SA only .05 different in index G/S, G/SA, & H/S combine, only .10 different in index H/SA & I/S combine, only .05 different in index I/SA & J/S combine, only .05 different in index J/SA in it's own class or combine with K/S, .010 different in index K/S in it's own class or see above. K/SA, L/S, & L/SA combine, only .05 different in index M/S & M/SA combine, same index N/S & N/SA combine, only .05 different in index O/S & O/SA combine, only .05 different in index P, Q, & R stick & auto keep seperate like now. T/S & T/SA have the same index now. U, V, & W stick & auto keep seperate like now. Oh Yes i didn't forget you front wheel drive cars, keep it like it is. So that would cut out 17 classes & sponsers should (yeah right ) put out more cash for class. You have to make sure that the Automatic cars get a weight break to make up for running against a Stick car. It's like when they ran Top & Jr. Stock, they combined Sticks with Automatics. I think to, you get to see more heads up runs. Any comments, i can take the heat... Pistol Pete 1374 I/SA Last edited by Pistol Pete; 10-06-2010 at 05:41 PM. Reason: left something out. |
