Default Early Chevy II front suspension problems...

Can someone who is familiar with the front suspension of the early (1962/1967) Chevy II's
fill me in on what the problems are regarding stability and proper geometry, in a drag car of this manufacture?

I have read (there was an article in Car Craft several years ago) about using some components off Buick front suspension to gain better camber, or caster, or maybe it was to do with bump steer; I can't remember.

I have a friend who may be building a low-10-second early Chevy II, and he's curious as to what kind of front-end modifications might help it handle better with 500+ HP under the hood.

I also have heard that there might be some aftermarket parts produced to deal with this problem.

Thanks for any information!!!
