I hope they get a good turnout for this race, this is the first stand alone Stock/ Super Stock show they have put on outside of the yearly National Open. Kearney is a real nice facility all parking is relatively close to the track. Kearney is a city of 30,000 people & has plenty of decent Motels & great restaraunts & shopping. Last years National Open featured roughly 40-50 Class Racers from all over the midwest including Don O'Malley from Illinois, Carroll Warling from Denver, and many more!! $1600 to win on saturday based on 32 car field. Please come out & support this great event!!

The event was run but only 12 Class cars showed up as weather threatened all day. The event was won by David Bogner (SS/CS) over Stephen Hagberg (A/SA) in a double breakout in the final. Semi Finals David had the bye & Hagberg defeated Monty Jones (G/SA) also in a double breakout. Hopefully next year they will have this event again. Midwest Class Racers split the money up paying a little farther back since not many cars showed up.
