I just wanted to know how first round is set up at a National events, my question is if you have 72 qualified cars shouldn't you have 36 first round? Thanks for any help.

Sportsman ladder for round 1. 72 car field, 1 vs 37, 2 vs 38, 3 vs 39 and so on, down to 36 vs 72.

Yes, 36 pairs. #1 runs #37, #2 runs #38, etc.

oops I was looking at the wrong sheet I made a mistake. it was only showing 18 first round which confused me(it was an incomplete run sheet) my mistake. thanks
