Accident at SCEDA Fontana

It is reported that Ronnie Marcum died in a pit accident at Fontana this morning. He was checking his convertor and it got away from him.

My condolences to his family.......

This same thing happend at Indy a few years back. It was a s/c dragster and for what ever reason, the throttle hung and he went into the side of a trailer, on top of the dragster that was already loaded. Killed him instantly too.

There as been Great Losses our Drag Racing World.

Truly a good, good guy. Sorry to hear such sad news. Damn.

I wanted to ensure the as many people get this information as possible he had many friends and I want to ensure they get a chance to honor him.
Services Scheduled are as follows:
All services will be conducted at Rose Hills located at 3888 Workman Mill Rd. in Whittier.
Visitation - Sunday 8/16/09 from 6:00pm-8:30pm
Funeral - Monday 8/17/09 at 11am - Sky Rose Chapel
