The third event of the 2009 National Trail Raceway Jegs Super Series will go off on Saturday, July 18th during the NTR Night of Thunder event. All three classes, including our regular ET series classes, will be running during this event.
All of the Super Series classes will be completed before the first round of the Jet car show at 7:00 PM. There will be two time trials for each class prior to round one of eliminations. Remember that the pairings will be determined by the closest to the dial in from the two session of time trials for the entire eliminator. This event is in preparation for the Buckeye Fuel Wars NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at NTR next week. Anyone that is coming up to the track on Saturday can leave their trailers at the track throughout the week before the LODRS event. Please check in with either myself or Jim Layton if you are going to do this to ensure that the trailer is safe and out of the way during the week. Entry into each of the Super Series classes is $65. Spectators for the day is $25, kids 6-12 are $5 and 5 and under are free. Discount coupons for spectators can be found around the area at participating Duke and Dutchess shops. For more information, call the office at 740-928-5706. |

Chris:
Thanks for having the Super Series completed by 7:00 but how far in the program will the ET Brackets be? We were thinking about paying for Super Pro too but we are concerned about the jet cars coming out at 7:00. Thanks for putting the program together. Ruthie Bailey |

You can run the throttle stop in the ET brackets. This way it gives you 4 runs on the stop instead of 2. Most of the racers that run the Super Series event keep it on the stop in the ET bracket.
Hope that helps. |

As stated before, the Super Series will be completed prior to the first Jet car passes at 7:00 PM. Super Pro, however will still be in competition after the Jet show begins. We need to have cars going down the track for the fans in the stands in between the Jet passes. I do have a run schedule that is setup for the entire evening of action. If everything runs according to plan, all of the ET Classes will be entering round three by the time the first jet car show is run. The run order planned out right now after the jets is as follows:
Sportsman High School Street Motorcycle Junior Dragster Pro Sauer Pro Gas (9.20 index for Motorcycles) Super Pro Super Pro Motorcycle With this order, there should be no problems as we are going from the slowest to the fastest in run order. And this order will be followed throughout the rest of the night. The only stoppage will be for the show at 9:00 and 11:00. And R Bailey 66 Mustang is correct, there is no rule against using the throttle stop in Super Pro. Keep the questions coming. |

Chris, your young enthusiasm to keep this thing alive is commendable. Keep up the good work, nice to see fresh management trying to get the word out.

Brian and all Super Series competitors:
First off, sorry that Mother Nature seemed to have other plans for us on Saturday night. I want to thank you all for coming out to the track and giving it a go despite the unfavorable forecast the unfortunatly was correct. As for the rain checks for the Super Series and those that entered in Super Pro. We have a meeting scheduled for later today to get a clear and true understanding on how we are going to use them in the best way possible for all sides. As soon as the meeting is over, we will post the information online at the NTR website and I will copy it onto the Class Racer forum as well. It was night to talk to many of you prior to your run on Saturday. Again, thanks to everyone who came out and best of luck to all the competitors coming to NTR this upcoming weekend for the LODRS Buckeye Fuels Wars event. |
