Thank You Richmond Dragway and ARC Race Participants!!

On behalf of American Race Cars, Donny "Hollywood" Urban and myself, we would like to thank Johnny Davis, the Richmond Dragway staff as well as each and every racer that participated in the run for the dragster race this past weekend. It was a long day with the rain delayed Pro-Am on Saturday, but the racers and track staff stepped up and not only finished the dragster race, but an almost equally full gambler's race. The track was great through out the entire event, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome.

Also, CONGRATS to Todd Welzel for winning the American Race Cars Patriot swing-arm Dragster! Props go out to runner-up Shane Maddox as well for making it to the finals in his Super Rod Mustang. You did a heck of a job representing the door car folks.

Lastly, this race could not have taken place without the 32 racers that signed up. We cannot thank you enough! We hope to put together another run for the dragster race at this event next year, but maybe with a little more of a notice and heads up (instead of 3 weeks).
