Default Diesel Pusher mufflers

I have been told replacing stock muffler on diesel pusher, with a magna flow low restriction muffler will increase HP and fuel Mileage. The engine in this motorhome is a 8.3 cummins. Looking for suggestions

Default Re: Diesel Pusher mufflers

I got a 04 Kodiak witha Duramax. I put one of those Walker Dynomax mufflers on it. Looks like a glasspack. Not sure if it picked up mileage, but sure made a difference in h.p. Gets kinda loud at 15psi of boost and above. I like to open it up at a stoplight when one of those riceburners is next to me with their rap music blarring, LOL.
